Wow! What a week. The response to the planner launch has been amazing! (I'm crossing my fingers that we don't sell out of them all before 2026 even starts! 😲) We still have the free notepad gift with purchase in stock, but they're dwindling fast. So, if you love making checklists as much as I do, make sure you place your order as soon as possible.
Here's my list for the weekend that I just filled out:

I love how psyched everyone is for the spiral binding! I worked hard to get the binding just right.
What's special about how the new planner is bound
This is a special binding called a "semi-concealed wire-O". You don't see it very often because it's more complicated to produce, but I fought hard for it because, though I love the way traditional spiral planners function, I don't like how they look in a bookcase. You can't tell what it is. With this binding, we still have a traditional book spine PLUS the wire is protected so it doesn't snag when put inside a bag.
Semi-concealed wire-o binding. Both functional AND beautiful.

Here's what to do now in your garden:
Direct sow lettuce, spinach, radishes, and kale. Now that it is finally starting to cool off, we can direct sow some of the veggies that require cooler weather to thrive.
Make sure to fertilize your cauliflower and broccoli. These plants are heavy feeders and the number one reason that gardeners struggle to get a decent harvest is because their plants aren't getting enough nutrients.
Plant garlic!!! Garlic is crazy easy to grow, and definitely one of the most useful things that you can grow. If you need help understanding how to grow garlic, you can check out my Awesome Alliums E-book.
Plant perennial herbs like rosemary, thyme, oregano and Mexican mint.
Fertilize your lawn. The secret to a weed-free lawn is not to douse it with herbicides, but to feed the turf properly so that it chokes out the weeds.
Plant, move or divide perennials. I will be dividing some ornamental grasses that have outgrown the current space.

Friday is Podcast Day!
In today's episode, I discuss how t conquer squash vine borers. I haven't lost a squash or pumpkin plant to borers in over 10 years because I use the techniques I outline in the episode. It's a quick and easy listen (perfect for your drive home from work).
