Weed and Feed Products Don't Work Here

Just because a product is available for purchase doesn't mean it will work here in North Texas.

"Weed & Feed" products are a classic example. These products aren't designed for our conditions. They only work for cooler climates and different grass types.

Here, the timing is wrong. The weeds you’re trying to control aren’t affected, and the fertilizer goes down when your lawn doesn’t actually need it.

It ends up being a big waste of money.

It's insights like these that I will be teaching in Lawn Care 101 this Wednesday at 6:30pm.

I’ll show you what to do instead, and more importantly, when to do it. Once you understand the timing, everything starts to fall into place.

We'll also cover:

  • Why you're watering your lawn too much and what to do about it
  • Organic fertilizer options and when to apply
  • Mowing at the proper height and why it matters

If your lawn has been a source of frustration, this class will give you a clear plan you can follow right away.

Lawn Care 101 is available to all enrolled students, and the replay will be ready if you can’t attend live.

Enrolled students: Prior to class, you will receive multiple reminder emails with instructions for joining live session. The replay will be made available within 24 hours of class end.

With enrollment, you can also get help from me directly whenever a lawn concern arises.

P.S. Here is my lawn in the middle of August. When this photo was taken, I had only run my sprinklers 5 days out of 165. I'll explain why I can get away with this on Wednesday night. Enroll today.
